SMT Carrier
- Used mostly for flexible PCB’s with a thickness which is usually bellow 0,5mm, which demands a stable, solid carrier for the SMT process
- These carriers can be manufactured from aluminum and CDM materials
- There are a couple of technical possibilities to fix the PCB on the carrier, from the classical stretching pins with springs, the corner fixing pushing mechanism with springs (used at thicker PCB’s above 1mm) to the more elegant and productive magnetic solution with a fixing alloy sheet
